    Movie /TV reviews.

The Secret of the Greco Family. True Crime. Mexican. Not everyone is a narco, some are kidnappers. Psycho parents ruin lives. 4 hobbits.

Time out of mind. Movie about homelessness.

Richard Gere stars. I’ve seen homeless people, all the behaviours, this movie shows everything. Pride and feelings of independence are the last things to go. 😔

Please be kind to people, always give to those on the street who ask.

The movie making, the script , is so subtle you don’t notice, it looks gentle, not much seems to happen, it’s just slow. Everybody else seems to making the decisions for homeless people. 5 hobbits

I read somewhere that life is about fighting entropy, without great effort everything will tend toward chaos and then cessation. We get poor when we do not work. A society that doesn’t let all people work, that doesn’t reward work, there is something wrong with that.

In a harsh society true wealth is having friends and family.

Miss Meow managed to knock her toy completely upside down whilst flying past doing zoomies. Apparently being upside down makes it very interesting and mysterious again.

My very favourite snacks are Toasted Turkish bread with cheap olive oil spread and 333s mighty Mite or crunchy peanut butter, popcorn, dark chocolate, sliced tomatoes on wholemeal bread toast, mi Goreng noodles, something with pesto on it, olives, those rice cake things made of corn, breakfast cereal had at any time other than breakfast time, chocolate and oat snack bars, mandarins, tiramisu, chocolate eclairs, table grapes, vanilla yoghurt, lightly salted kettle type chips, bread, trail mix… and actually a frightening amount of whatever the kids haven’t finished.

Seaweed flavoured rice crackers smeared with cream cheese - agree that snax need to be instant. So packet of crackers on one side, tub of cream cheese on the other, plate and butter knife in the middle. If I’m feeling fancy I grind pepper on top of the cheese. Or plain saladas with pate.

I’m basic and lazy. For meals I like to put effort in, but snacks need to be instant. Fruit, slice of cheese, nuts, crackers, biscuits. If I’m feeling particularly energetic I might have a carrot with some dip. But I don’t faff around with making carrot sticks, just slice on the diagonal and dip in. I actually think it’s better slicing like this because more surface area to scoop the dip.

Be honest about previous use, and how it helped. What you’re struggling with, that MC can help with. They ask questions but nothing super crazy.

For me it’s a rather simple, and even pleasant experience talking to them.

I have a ton of crows in my back yard having some sort of cawing competition. Is this a sign of something? Should I be worried? I’ve also had a black cat cross my path…

Probably. The cracked mirror could be the giveaway. Better throw some salt over your left shoulder just in case. Preferably outside to save on vacuuming.

The crows are definitely a rare event where I am, although the black cat is a regular occurrence. Usually she is trying to trip me up.

There have also been a lot of cockies around lately, probably related to the liquidambar seeds everywhere. Maybe it’s some sort of bird war?

Well, it’s late autumn and the food sources are about to dry up (unless you’re a raven and like maccas and burger offcuts). I suspect all this gathering is a social thing where they’re dividing up territories amongst themselves for the winter.

Curious to see if this is a “me” thing or not. so does anyone else when they make a new mate become like low key obsessed for a bit? or not obsessed but like, the social anxiety just dial up a couple of notches? just for like the first couple of days of the proper mateship. Then it always settles down. Like every time your phone buzzes your like “Oh, I hope its X person”. and when they take a bit to reply you go “Oh, did I message them too many times? did I say something weird?” when you know they’re probs just busy.

ABSOLUTELY! people think your intense. And its hard to explain to someone “No, I just feel more strongly about you than you probs do about me”. Still stings when they kind of prove that though hey.

It’s tough man. For me, I generally expect nothing from other people, which helps temper my excitement to a degree.

In a way, it’s pessimistic, but after some of my experiences, its less shitty to think that way.

I’m a slow boil. I’ll be interacting with someone for ages before I suddenly realise one day they’ve made the move from acquaintance to friend.

So, no. For me it’s more a sudden realisation after a bit. I’m reminded somewhat of the way my wife and I started dating here.

    Work relationships are so complicated.

My co-worker/superior spoke badly to someone I’m friends with and unfortunately also at the same time spoke for me.

Had to go during my break to apologise for it all I suppose explain a few things and whatnot.

Incident involved a really rudely delivered snappy comment about being busy but it came off really badly I felt.

Anyway I don’t understand why she snapped like she did and I couldn’t explain it and often I see double standards about things.

Just need to get through the rest of the day no trying to maintain the peace.

Especially if you can wait a month or two. New financial year often sees a huge influx of these as companies update their hardware.
