No, your post is simply “Stop doing that thing I don’t like”, and my counterpoint and the rest of the human history says “THATS NOT HOW THAT FUCKING WORKS. STOP BEING STUPID.”.

      Bye.

You seem very intent on making excuses for Israel and deflecting the blame off of them. How much are you getting paid for it?

Nope. Hate what Israel is doing. It’s fucking awful.

I’m pragmatic though, and you’re someone who thinks protesting is going to stop bombs. Didn’t work in the 60’s,70’s,80s,90’s,00’s,10’s OR now. But you keep doing what you’re doing and feeling good about it.

          Next.

Nope. Didn’t change my comment (slay sarcasm at you).

My point is pretty fucking solid. You want to protest, go for it. Am I for Israel, NOPE.

Do I think your tone is fucking absolutely pointless and doing zero good for what is happening right now? YUP.

Putting public pressure on political figures is a very valid thing to do though. Especially if they are about to run for election in a few months. These people are making sure their voices are heard.

Vietnam War, English occupation of India, the nuclear disarmament during the cold War, when the Berlin wall fell, the singing revolution that helped the Baltics become independent from the soviet union, removing a dictator from the Phillipines in 1986.

Even if sometimes the change is not immediate it definitely makes a difference when considering making future policy changes.

Whoa. For real? That’s how you see history?

Bad news, the Vietnam war went on WELL past people stopped protesting about it in Britain and the UK. About 3 years by any averages. People just kept getting sent to die for no reason and no clear objective.

The Cold War was not “won”, but the USSR did run out of money and nobody would fund them. Nothing to do with protestors though. Hell, one of the last gasps by the “Former USSR” was a dead hand system that said if it ever fell, nuclear nukes would launch. Thank God it didn’t work.

                  Bye.

Just because the changes didn’t happen right away doesnt mean it didn’t help. Biden stepping down was thanks in large part due to the protests over Israel. He was too unpopular with enough people on swing states that would cause concern.

Not sure what this means. You think people in the"western world" were protesting in support of wars?

I can assure you that was not the case. Fucked up if you got that from your education system.
