You wouldn’t know unless someone told you though

If a sample image is “making some women feel unwelcome in the field” you may be too sensitive for life.
Be careful what you wish for though. Electronics, and software in particular, rapidly drop in reliability as the parts stray from tightly restricted boundaries and become open to anyone. “Hey, this app crashes on my phone now.” Repairing a phone too wouldn’t be cheap either, you’d have to have someone soldering and resoldering a very fine circuit board. I think most people would just replace it.
We need to modify the DMCA to truly address this
This is the norm for any big business. The top dogs will be wildly paid even if the company is struggling. They’ll get a big fat payday even if they get kicked out (golden parachute). Hell, even the bosses in the NYC Public Library system are pulling in close to a million bucks a year even as they talk about cutting services.
Yes
The problem is religious texts are generally vague and come from cultures hundreds or thousands of years ago. That lets people claim they speak for god or know “the truth” and cherry pick and twist meanings until they get the answer they want. I’ve listened in on bible studies where they pick over the tiniest word and inflate it into a huge story. They’d make all sorts of assumptions about it “This is what they meant!” I’d be thinking “Really? You got all of that out of one word that can be interpreted a number of ways?”
Why does it matter if she was driving a Tesla? Are Honda Civics amphibious vehicles?
I have a love/hate relationship with phone touch screens. On the one hand it enables us to have controls that would be impossible on a phone, like selecting a point on a map, infinite variety of button controls, etc. On the other hand I can’t tell you how many times I’ve barely brushed the screen by accident and the damn thing is off doing something I didn’t want. “NO! DON’T SHUT OFF THE APP YOU…sigh”
As an IT guy I have a case of “familiarity breeds contempt” when it comes to tech. A lot of it feels unnecessary and overcomplicates things and increases the chance of a failure.
Because if you wear your religion on your sleeve and are highly observant then that means you are conservative and rules focused by nature. People who belong to liberal Christian denominations, like Unitarianism, are rarely heard from because they aren’t vocal by nature.
People who are very religious also want to believe that what they follow is the truth but the very existence of nonbelievers casts doubt on this either consciously or subconsciously. “If my beliefs are self evident then how can so many nonbelievers exist?” So they rationalize this as either thinking of you as a sinner who deliberately refuses to accept the “truth” or a poor lost soul in need of saving. Christianity, and some other faiths, is also missionary minded in nature. They are called upon in the New Testament to “spread the word”. If you want to grow your numbers and/or your income (i.e. Mormon church) then you are aggressive with missionaries and hunting for converts.
People are also very good at rationalizing their views and cherry picking data to force things to fit their emotionally driven beliefs. Look at conspiracy theorists who dismiss anything that contradicts them as “lies” and “propaganda” but their sources are never questioned.
No matter what happens the CEO and his peers will get fat bonuses
Self immolation as a form of protest. For anyone unaware of it there was a Buddhist monk who immolated themself to protest the oppression of Buddhists by the Catholic PM of Vietnam.

Maybe this is why I’m not seeing it, it was a few months ago.
Edit: The link says this was in DC recently though.
“A US Air Force soldier is in critical condition after he set himself on fire outside the Israeli Embassy in Washington, DC, Sunday.”
Maybe I want you to peek in…
Only the big evangelist types or Mormons which isn’t all Christians. I know plenty of Christians who are quiet about it and only talk about it if you bring it up, unlike people really into politics. Even with Mormons I’ve known many who don’t say anything about it and even sneak in coffee…
Go to a Unitarian church where people will usually identify as Christian.
No, that isn’t it
I always price compare regardless of the search results. Mindlessly clicking isn’t a good idea.
