it’s sounds almost like a Finnish guerrilla ”motti-tactic” which was used in Winter War against soviets. Hit and run and they even didnt know what hit them. In motti tactic you hit a convoy in a position where they can’t escape.

best part is that you can turn old laptops still useful after installing ubuntu etc
