minus-squareBlyfh@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up0·7 months agoWhat the fuck are ice cube bags? Is it just water that you can then fill into the form?
minus-squaresetVeryLoud(true);@lemmy.caOPlinkfedilinkarrow-up0·7 months agoExactly, it’s because we don’t have an ice maker, and regular ice containers make ice that tastes like ass. I think we got them a long time ago at Dollarama.
minus-squareBlyfh@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up0·edit-27 months agoOhhh, so you use the bag as well. I assume you crunch it afterwards? And what kind of ice containers do y’all have that inflict a taste on the cubes? That kind of plastic doesn’t sound healthy…
minus-squaresetVeryLoud(true);@lemmy.caOPlinkfedilinkarrow-up0·7 months agoI haven’t used them in a while, but I think you basically just open them up and break the ice pouches apart. The taste comes from the freezer itself, not the container. I should probably look for a sealed, reusable ice cube mold.
