minus-squareCEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zoneOPlinkfedilinkarrow-up0·10 months agoA friend has give us some home-brew to try. Today is that day. It occurred to me that of the hundreds of glasses I own, I don’t have any beer glasses. I will have to slum it and use high ballers.
minus-squareDuenan@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkarrow-up0·10 months agoI almost thought you were talking about coffee then I remember, nah, it’s beer! I have this odd glass I was given awhile ago with indent of a bottle so you could tip it in the glass by flipping it after placing the cup on top. Haven’t used it though.
minus-squareMeanElevator@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·10 months agoKmart or Big W generally have 6 packs of beer glasses. Brandy snifters and tulip wine glasses can work too…and look classy as fuck
minus-squareCEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zoneOPlinkfedilinkarrow-up0·10 months agoI’ve got both those but I think I’ll stick with the high ballers so I can get a good head on it.
minus-squareSeagoon_@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkarrow-up0·edit-210 months agoGreat idea! Brandy snifters are ideal for flavourful home brew beers, as are other balloons. The shape reduces acidity. straight sided or flutes for lagers and pilseners now I’m wondering if anywhere around here sells fruit lambics, they are delicous on hot days
minus-squareTaleya@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkarrow-up0·10 months agoif you’re SE grape & grain do and deliver.
minus-squareMeanElevator@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·10 months agoI have had some less than ideal experiences with home brewed beers. Concentrating their smell and flavour would have been disastrous.
