Does anyone think as things have been ramping up that trunk will be actually impeached and removed from office over this? I’m a little hopeful, but not holding my breath. Actually I’m really not hopeful at all unless some republicans break rank (we know they won’t)
There is zero chance an impeachment goes anywhere. He controls the house and the senate and they have already made it clear they would rather protect trump than even themselves at this point.
And as nice as it would be for the mushroom kingdom to roll up with some fire flowers, the secret service and military would just unload on full auto and mow them down. Or we would have president vance which will still be doing all the same project 2025 bullshit (but with less tariffs).
At BEST we are looking at a military coup (assuming they don’t just jerk off over the idea of being able to unload on The Gays) and… those have basically never ended well for the people.
If Congress and the Supreme Court are both being flagrantly ignored, and Trump continues to violate even direct Supreme Court orders, this doesn’t end with impeachment. This ends with Congressional Republicans and Democrats, and the Supreme Court justices meeting with military leaders and having Trump removed by the military. Alternatively, the military might simply stand aside and let the mob bring justice to Trump.
