I’m not simping for a brand. But I want to add that you can use their app to get their garbage, and get a decent amount of it, cheap still. (Online exclusives, then it’s like a box. I don’t remember the name.) Less than $10 and I’m full.
(This post brought to you by, I’m on a medication that makes eating really difficult, but sometimes I can tolerate Taco Bell and when the ability to eat happens I usually have just a few short minutes to procure and start eating before the moment passes. Which is why I’ve been sitting next to a bowl of my favorite pasta for two hours and have had to reheat it twice. T_T )
Wild guess here, but if it’s from antidepressants, like it is for me, you can be prescribed a second antidepressant at a dose too low to help depression, but high enough to get the side effect: heightened appetite. It’s not a miracle fix, but it helps me eat more.
Chicken chalupa supremes. But man, it’s still a crap shoot on if the shells are gonna be warm and toasty, or cold and chewy. I’ve yet found a Taco Bell that is consistent.
$6 for this garbage. Taco Bell used to be a decent guilty pleasure but it’s become expensive trash now.
Nah, it was always trash. Just inexpensive. Now it’s just expensive trash.

It’s from stimilant medication for ADHD :(
Thank you very much though.
Back in the 90s before the meat fillers, it was different. I used to dine there quite a bit. Modern variations pale in comparison.
I still can’t replicate a chalupa well enough. Homemade quesaritos don’t entirely scratch the itch, but they’re pretty good.
But they aren’t cheap any more.

On a road trip I stopped at a Taco Bell for bean burritos for something easy to eat. Two bean burritos for $8. They used to be less than a $1 each.
The secret to cheap fast food nowadays is to use their apps and order online
