So in this case they see fentanyl and border and the conclusion is that it’s illegal immigrants at fault. It absolves them of any responsibility and also confirms their hatred of the immigrants. They could have done that in the first two years of Trump’s presidency if it really mattered to them. But all they really want is corporate tax cuts.
