I used to live in Amsterdam and in a some streets there are just way too many souvenir, stroopwafel and Nutella shops while local grocers are pushed out because of rising rent.

The only way for a Bernie to win a primary is if such a candidate is not an outlier. The entire party needs to move to the left and that starts from the ground up. Since people need to get exposed to more left wing politicians so left wing ideology becomes more normalized and at the moment it’s not.
When young people vote you get people like AOC and Omar into office. The only way to get a Bernie elected is if there are AOC’s and Omar’s filling seats in local, state and the federal government. From the school board all the way up to the Senate.
And Europe’s next. Another far right puppet of Putin will be elected to run a European country in the next few weeks. Just shows that Europe follows the US in lockstep with a 5 year delay.

Lol stop thinking conservative Muslims aren’t a problem in Europe. Just because white racist conservatives are making live hard for the lgbtq and Muslims doesn’t mean the Muslim community are all allies. A person who suffers from discrimination can be themselves a bigot.
Also I’m an immigrant in The Netherlands myself living in a neighborhood with lots of Muslims. I’m seeing the problems these people cause first hand. Lgbtq will never walk hand in hand in my neighborhood. Muslim youths will straight up harass and commit violence if they see a gay couple walking hand in hand. I’m not saying all Muslims are gay bashers but the portion of liberal minded Muslims is in my experience a tiny fraction of the Muslim community in my country.
