Sorry for making this US-centric, this is a shame for Iran and their society, both of which have great potential if they could get out from under the boot.
As an Iranian, please do make this about the US. We have seen a lot of parallels with what is wrong with iran vs what is wrong in US.
It’s what makes the whole death to America chant so ironic.
From my eyes, there is no iran vs us or all that. This is a human problem when people take power and suppress their citizens using fear tactics. We all should be on team democracy and personal freedoms.

250 year old country tells 6,000 year old country of it’s irrelevance in the scope of history.
It’s nice when a mean post is also stupid, so you meet a jerk… then immediately feel bad for them… because we feel bad for just a moment, “Aw that was mean,” then we move on. The person who wrote that has to keep living as a person who writes stupid things such as this. It can’t be a pleasant existence.
