I just finished reading this book and if everything he said in this book is even half true then we can all thank Bush Jr for the rise of Trump.
If what Al Gore said is true of some of the shit that Bush did then its should be no surprise the shit that Trump pulled.
According to this book published in 2007 Bush would literally sign laws then tell Congress he would ignore said laws. His administration okay the push for more power to the presidency side stepping over the checks and balances we apparently were supposed to have.
The book pretty relieving just how bad Bush was as a president and to me he step up what we now have with Trump.
If you read this book I would like your thoughts or even if you haven’t I what like people opinions on this.

Voters refusing to hold their own politicians accountable while pointing fingers at the other side is what led to trump. Republicans let Republicans get away with murder because it’s their team doing it, same with team blue. Then they reward their party members for bad behavior.
