Within the last week I’ve received multiple notifications from the Galaxy Store app to download an app I don’t currently have installed (two for TikTok, another for some solitaire game). I assume this came from the OneUI update that was recently installed but I’m not sure.

What is up with that? Notifications cannot be disabled for that app. Is this my life now? I have no choice but to be pushed advertisements through an app that can’t be uninstalled or muted? Fuck Samsung. I’m curious to hear if other people are experiencing this too or if there’s a workaround.

You can’t disable notifications entirely, but there are categories:

Can’t recall ever getting a notification from the Galaxy Store app, but I would have gone here immediately if I did. Definitely haven’t gotten any since whenever I set these.
