I’m not personally familiar with Android antivirus tools. I’d imagine your best bet is to just not install APKs from random unverified sources.

Thanks! I actually meant to remove the section altogether since folks likely have their preferred tools by now.
Thanks for sharing!
Heya, thanks for this! I’ve pinned it to the community.
Interesting. Do you happen to know where it gets its traffic data from? I haven’t yet personally found anything nearly as useful as Waze.
It depends on who you’re asking. The AI branding appeals to a lot of the more casual users I know, but it ultimately comes down to the actual functionality being added. It’s the first time in a long time that I’ve been interested in following smartphone developments. What our devices can actually do has for a long time been rather stagnant IMO.
I’m most interested in seeing what the VR variant will be like.
Thanks for posting! I’m looking forward to the Gemini announcements.
I miss this phone along with the M7.
I’m a millennial and the last consoles I’ve owned were the PS3 and Wii.
Is this why some people don’t mind the vivid calibration on Samsung phones?
Agreed! I’m really appreciative of folks putting this kind of work into Lemmy.

Doesn’t take extreme wealth for that. I make enough that I can buy whatever I want. The best Christmas gifts are things I wouldn’t think of needing or wanting.
For birthday, it’s usually just a dinner without gifts.
You might want to relocate the litter box or add another.
I’m surprised nobody has taken on bringing compatible hardware to market. I feel like there would (still) be crowdfunding interest.
I hadn’t heard of Pebble the Twitter competitor. It just makes me miss the Pebble watches.
I found this interesting in the comments:
Hmm, Raspberry Pi Ltd. joins RISC-V group (Jan 2019). Raspberry Pi Ltd. releases Rpi5 with a unified Rpi1 I/O chip (Oct 2023) freeing them from being tied to a particular SoC family. ARM Ltd. invests in Raspberry Pi Ltd. (Nov 2023). Hmmm… Really seems like a “here’s some cash, stay ARM.”
Can you imagine the marketing impact of a RISC-V RPi board after all these years of it being ARM based? Sure, the number of boards effected isn’t huge, but it’s the marketing impact of losing a flagship product that needs to be considered.

I honestly don’t know how people can tolerate it.
I can’t tell whether you’re just referring to Chrome 🙂.
