        Calling for the arrest of protesters is antidemocratic. People who go around categorizing those they disagree with as enemies are, generally speaking, assholes.

        Following her difficult encounter with activists who should, in theory, be on her side on the Israel-Gaza argument, a tweet from December 2020 resurfaced online, in which she wrote: “The whole point of protesting is to make [people] uncomfortable.

        “Activists take that discomfort with the status quo & advocate for concrete policy changes. Popular support often starts small and grows. To folks who complain protest demands make others uncomfortable… that’s the point.”

        Also, you’re not using the word “propaganda” correctly. It’s a noun, not an adjective.

          No, calling for their arrest is also allowed in a democracy, actually. It’s just as allowed as the protest itself. It’s kinda funny how that works, eh?

          Democracy is about people setting the rules. There are actually no rules that sit above the rule of people making the rules, and calling for how they wish to be interpreted.

    I always find it annoying when activists target the people who are basically on their side, it’s like the black lives matters protestors taking the mic from Bernie during one of his campaign events… like okay? What are you trying to achieve?
