Seems like TPM or core isolation. There are several hardware implementations to secure devices that 10yr old CPUs do not support. These are ‘new’ features, not a decision to break your security.
Yeah there’s probably nothing of value to most people being “lost” here. Is this a screenshot from Windows 10 or 11? Because 11 won’t even install without TPM 2.0 support unless you specifically bypass it.
