Actually, I think .world also banned them a while ago, but removal federation can be wonky which is why this is still up for people on other instances.
SJW_Bot2 is really effective at autobanning spam and CSAM nearly instantly. Unfortunately, this does little to alleviate the problem for other instances, unless the spammer happens to make their account on SJW.
Ahhhh, that’s actually a good thing that it can at least be partially handled while mods aren’t available.
