Reminds me of the Psychlos from Battlefield Earth. Awkwardly walking slowly through every scene they are in because of the boots/stilts that were part of the costume.
Yeah, it was very slow to take off, hard to get a grasp of who was doing what to whom and why (which is important because later the plot hinges on your understanding more than on what is seen), and then the season ended abruptly.
It’s much better if you can watch both seasons at once, because it does get MUCH faster and far more entertaining. It’ll never be a 10, but I thought Season 2 was a good 7.5 to 8, if you’re into that genre.
Season 1 with no follow up was blah at best; I wasn’t even going to watch Season 2 but then I was sick one day and said what the hell, and it ended up being a great binge. Especially when you see a Puck walk and you’re like, oh shit, that’s Ron Desantis, lol.
Whomp whomp, now time for his little ass to run back home to Florida to continue to make our state worse, fuck DeSantis.
Probably pretty hard to run in those lifts, he’ll likely have to mechanically stagger back home awkwardly.

He reminded us of the Pucks from Carnival Row walking, but yeah. Those cowboy boot lifts . . . Streisand effect PLUS looking ridiculous, lol.
My brother and I thought it would be funny to watch but it’s a real slog. It’s biggest issue is how boring it is.
