The Houthis vow that US and UK strikes on their positions in Yemen will not go without “punishment or retaliation”

The Iran-backed group pledges to continue its attacks on ships in the Red Sea and its support for Hamas in Gaza

Overnight military strikes by air and sea targeted 16 Houthi positions including command centres, munitions depots and air defence systems, the US says

President Biden says the action will protect the free flow of international commerce

British PM Rishi Sunak says the strikes were “limited, necessary and proportionate action in self-defence”

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer backs the action, but some opposition parties say Britain’s parliament should be recalled to debate it

The Netherlands, Australia, Canada and Bahrain provided support as part of the mission, says Biden

Guess it was a show of a military might more than anything, so other countries wouldn’t even move while Israel levels Gaza. And I doubt many even cared for them. Poor bastards stood against the dictatorship and now set as a nationalistic, brutal and overly religious military junta. Many of them didn’t even have any chance at life at all being born in the islamic North Korea. But they probably didn’t know the original NK has China when it shoots in the sea, and Houties just don’t have any backing while doing their acts of terror. Or didn’t care? Or just gambled?

If Iran encouraged (or even ordered) them to shoot, USA and allies then shot back, and only Houties lost in the end. A line of sixteen pawns, all knocked off in one cock wiggling blow of the allied MICs. That’s what they (or rather their administration) were aiming for? They’ve found a very weird way to support Palestine.
