What happened to letting states control that? Every state already has some variation of state academy funded by whatever means is appropriate to the state (probably heavily dependent on DOE). In my state there is an emphasis on studying facts, science, actual academic exercises.
What if my state want to teach more than 6,000 years of history?
It used to not be funny. It’s still not, but it used to not, too.
