I’d like to use my Google Pixel 8 as a light desktop pc, via a USB-C Dock.
Connecting the phone to the dock works fine, but most apps are not made for a large screen.
So my idea was: Can we maybe use some lightweight linux distro until google releases the “desktop”-mode?
Samsung had this a few years ago, but discontinued the app.
This is old but there are a number of ways to do this

The first three apps are not available anymore. The fourth link leads to an active project (Andronix) and looks interesting, thanks!
Yes, this has been a thing for a while, just lots of old or out of date projects.
