i mean i’ve been ignoring Biden’s garbage capitulation to the false framing that immigrants are doing crime and rapes en masse and that this is a serious concern.

i’m gonna ignore it into the future but i’ve been ignoring it too.

Was more or less talking about the rhetoric around the candidate switch. Trying to gauge where they are going to land.

      For example:

      “Harris is somehow worse”

      “The democrats are weak”

      “Trump beat biden into submission”

      Etc.

We’re going to get a torrent of “The Left doesnt know what they’re doing”

Which, doing this without an official plan announced, will shake party unity.

Just Vote D in November. I’m tired of these interesting times.

I would take “doesn’t know what they’re doing” over “knows what they’re doing (it is white supremacist fascism).”

I keep getting responses to this. I’d just like to add I was wrong. This didn’t shake party unity at all. I feel invigorated, myself. But yes, fuck the center-right “Democrats” and wallowers who have already consigned themselves. The fascists just shot themselves in the fucken foot because their platform is pure hate. Our chances are better than ever. Fucken vote!

Can’t say I disagree. This is like going to the store and all they stock on the shelves are Pepsi and Coke. These two private organizations are the ones who decide who we get to choose from and they both keep picking the absolute worst candidates possible.

These two private organizations are the ones who decide who we get to choose from

So-called “liberal democracy” in a nutshell. And according to the “vote blue no matter who” crowd, nobody is allowed to talk about it.

I’m not abandoning democracy. I’ll do that when Trump strips women of their rights and tries to sell my daughters to the highest bidder.

At this rate just make sure to get all the democrats you know to make a voting plan and commit. What matters most now is we use our numbers and show that we vote for ideologies and not people, so it doesnt matter who is up there as long as they follow democratic principles.

Well Johnson is already trying to argue that it might be illegal for anyone other than Biden to be on the ticket.

So I’ll definitely be ignoring that.

The convention wasn’t held, he was not nominated. He can release his delegates at any time. Anyone arguing otherwise has no idea how our democracy functions.

It’s something he did in his capacity as president.

If it’s illegal for him to drop out then it was also illegal for Trump to lead an insurrection. Pick one and stick with it.

If by “left” and “right” you mean Democrats and Republicans respectively, then I’m going to ignore all their rhetoric to the best of my ability just as I have been. I’m not interested in anything even remotely resembling either programme.

Biden running or not doesn’t really alter the rhetoric that I’d consider ignorable.

“Why does the party of ‘law and order’ support a 34x convicted felon over a former prosecutor?”

Call out the party of criminals and make them fall over themselves trying to square that circle.
