Thank goodness Israel is indiscriminately bombing Gaza to root out these evil terrorists! I sure hope they get the terrorist’s location out of those civilians they are torturing!
Lying about casualties is standard propaganda in every conflict. Everybody does it (for another comparison, look at the discrepancy between Ukraine and Russia’s published numbers). That’s why third party assessments are important.
It’s been hard to get people into Gaza safely to do accurate analysis however.
The article suggests that the change is due to using figures from the Gaza Health Ministry - which is still part of the Hamas-run government - rather than Hamas’ Media Office, which is also Hamas.
It’s a bit rich to suggest that the IDF killing 5000 women and 8000 children is the result of Hamas, rather than the IDF.
