I suppose that specifically I am wondering if there are any things you do to perhaps:
- stay calm
- calm the other person down
- get them to understand you better
- understand their point of view
- diffuse trolls
- just be a good person who wants to participate in a conversation that enhances your understanding of others, different cultures, and the world and how it works
Okay, you can fuck off. My time and attention aren’t infinite and I am not so curious to understand you that I’m going to wade through whatever bullshit you feel you’re entitled to throw at me. If you can’t be bothered to do the work to make yourself legible then I’m not going to do that work for you.

I think anyone watching your behaviour can see that you are actually being a troll, but I don’t expect you to reflect on that since apparently you don’t consider other people’s perspectives worth considering.

He’s absolutely a troll, and he’s trying to get you banned. It’s what he does.
Be careful, this guy baits you into an argument and then reports you to mods resulting in bans. Best to block the troll and ignore him.
Check their comment history. There been trolling people for a LONG time here. They’ve been proven wrong countless times, and they just pretend to be a victim and report people until they’re banned.
