No. I didn’t much like Reddit but I have never had so many problems with a social media site as I have with Lemmy. Right now there’s 17 comments in my notifications page, but no way to access them because it just says “404 - page not found.” And there’s no way to view or erase them.

Lemmy has tons of connectivity problems also. On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d have to rate it minus 100. I’ve left Kbin and actually am no longer even using Lemmy but once in a grand while. I’m looking for other sites that will work better.

Actually he’s an octopus so he’s always been a lot more of a hands-on person.

I’ve never understood exactly what makes the male sex supposedly so superior. From what I’ve seen they are decidedly mediocre as a sex, very egotistical, gun loving, hate-filled, quick to anger, slow witted and quite dirty minded, with brains that make war and other filth. But drinking IS good for you and it DOES heal the body and give people superpowers. I’m all for people drinking themselves into a stupor because they will feel SO, so good from it. I really do encourage it and all the drug abuse that is humanly possible, it makes me feel good to see it, and I truly do support it all.

What I meant is, alcohol is actually good for your brain and helps repair damage. Drink up!

All alcohol destroys some part of the liver and the brain. It’s not something our bodies were ever meant to ingest, despite how popular it is to do so. One drop of pure alcohol (about the amount in a glass of wine) permanently kills some 10,000 or so brain cells.

There was no chance Putin wouldn’t stay in office, more’s the pity as it says all that needs be said about why mankind is unreedemable and unworthy of any sort of salvation. That was almost before my time too and I was born in 1959. Around that time the industrial sector began requiring more and more education and people were more motivated to go to school for longer periods. Also about that time, because of the bolstered economy after the war, prices started going up and inflation really took hold.

Now having a college degree doesn’t even guarantee you’ll make enough to afford a one-bedroom apartment. There is something out of whack about that. I don’t know how people in upcoming generations will even be able to afford to buy food, let alone to have a roof over their heads. And it isn’t any one president at fault for it, it’s been going on since I was a kid, and that was decades ago.
