I feel like even though biden didn’t perform well, trump just said way too many obvious lies. Like saying the nazi rally in charlottesville was just a lie made up by biden?? Despite there being photos of it???

A third party hasn’t won a single state since 1968. Unless you have some master plan to get enough people behind one specific candidate to make them win not just a state but the entire electoral college, it’s not going to happen. If we keep letting republicans get into power it is just going to put us further away from any kind of election reform that would allow a third party to win. If we don’t back biden, trump will win.
I would love to vote third party, but there is no chance of a third party winning until we have rank choice voting or another improved system, at this point it’s just a waste of your vote
It’s so dumb, I don’t understand why people just refuse to think about the long term consequences instead of just “i want to vote for the perfect person right now so if no one is perfect i won’t vote.” Like I know Biden is a terrible candidate, but like I’d personally like to still have a department of education by the next election???
Being born in the US is such a stupid requirement. Someone who immigrated here as a child in a relatively non-wealthy family would understand the average american so much better than the super wealthy politicians we have now
Honestly I don’t know how much better I could do than biden in an argument with trump. His look of just complete confusion as trump just continued to say complete nonsense was pretty much the same look I had listening to it.
Silverblue is so good, everything works perfectly out of the box on my hardware (Framework 13 AMD). I was worried I was going to forget how to do anything because it was so easy so I had to make a second partition and install OpenBSD
To be fair, you can make a sim in your own image without them being able to see you. Maybe we’re all just sims
I think the ideal solution would be like selecting skills in an rpg. You get some number of points, say 10, and you can give as many or as few to each candidate as you want. If there’s only one candidate you want you give them all your points, otherwise, you can do essentially the same thing as rank choice and give some to every candidate but different amounts
In the comments he kept responding to everyone being critical and being like “well it’s my computer so I can do anything I want to it”
I forgot about that part, that whole “repair” was such a mess
I think it was a security torx screw if I remember correctly so it makes sense he wouldn’t necessarily have an appropriate bit, but it would have been so little effort to just order one or go to a store
I stopped watching when he got that one rare IBM workstation and sloppily dremeled in all the the screws to open it because he was too lazy to go to the store to buy a screwdriver. That was before I even heard about this and the stupid gun stuff. I know it’s like a minor thing and he only damaged screws and sheet metal parts that could in theory be replaced with a medium amount of difficulty, but I just can’t imagine intentionally damaging something very uncommon because you’re too lazy to buy a screwdriver
Yeah they were just trying to help tesla by demonstrating the concept of painting vehicles since tesla doesn’t seem to understand it very well
Or… Just maybe… It’s a joke and it’s just trying to be an even more absurd take on the original gnu+linux copypasta
The weather isn’t openweather’s fault. It’s a limitation in libgweather (a gnome project). They have to manually approve locations for them to work.
It’s a dumb workaround but this script lets you add custom locations https://gitlab.com/julianfairfax/scripts/-/blob/main/add-location-to-gnome-weather.sh
The really awful part is that there’s not really any regulation that can stop this. If you ban taking away games people bought then they’ll just switch to a subscription which is even worse
Exactly what I always do, since I have to use a kernel not written in rust I uninstall the kernel once I’ve booted so it’s only in memory and no longer tainting my storage with its impurity
I don’t get how people manage to spend so much time keeping arch running. I used it on my laptop for a few years and it just worked?? It was like the easiest to maintain distribution I’ve used other than immutable ones. The only real problems I ever had were accidentally interrupting pacman during a kernel update and not having a kernel, but that was always a like 2 minute fix
