It would suck not to hold people accountable for their very bad decisions, but at this point if it means putting this shit behind us, I’d begrudgingly take it.

You found an important bug in your short code plugin. Removing the line from .gitkeep
is not actually the solution; it was a symptom of a much bigger and more dangerous problem: you are inadvertently including and parsing a file that is not intended to be a short code.
You, or a crafty hacker, might one day create a file with code in it that should not be parsed as a short code, and not realize that it’s being done. You’re lucky that you’re the one who discovered this and not somebody else.
The solution is the only parse the files that you need to parse. This means ignoring hidden files that begin with a dot. You might also think about creating a default ignore list for any other non-shortcode file that could exist.
I’m saying WTF.
Everybody knows that Hell is down below us, and portals to Hell or Satan would open up on the ground and not in the sky where Heaven is located. Like, duh, man.
Birthed me. Then they had the audacity to celebrate it each year there after.
This post is still not Linux related.
The -i

Yes. And also, you should be doing stretching exercises.
…the Logitech AI mouse.
That should be false advertising; both to consumers and investors. There is nothing AI about a dedicated button preprogrammed to launch an application that does the AI for you.
But I guess that further demonstrates your point about companies cramming shit in consumer’s faces to appease investors. It’s still a huge WTF in my book though.
I would love to see an artist make a logo of an elephant wearing a fedora, with a neck beard, saying “m’lady”.
Blood sacrifices to ensure victory?
Very well put. I too have dysthymia. And unfortunately that “long-term functioning depression” can and does last for years on end. Not to mention that you can also suffer bouts of normal depression on top of the dysthymia depression. Double whammy, as it were.
But yes, I’m pretty sure (at least for me) the only way that I seem to be able to produce dopamine involves food; the junkier the better, but healthy food is not the same. It’s probably the sugar that does it. I’ve noticed the longer I go without eating sugary foods, the worse my moods get.
That video explains it very well. Thank you.
Because back in the day, minoxodile was said to contain rat urine, and its main selling point was that it regrows hair.
I mean yes, change is hard and takes time and happens in sometimes-unnoticeable ways, but come on — throw me a bone and let me have something immediate to help keep motivating me toward the long-term change. If it were as simple as “keep doing it every day”, don’t you think I’d be doing that already?

There is no such thing as bad publicity.
Maybe there was a point in time where Trump would have ignored a question because it didn’t appeal to his narcissism, but I would venture that at this point his brain is too far gone for that.
Hebrews 6:18 “it is impossible for God to lie”
You have to consider the source for statements like that. I’ve always asked the question — and of course never got a real answer — that if we all agree that man is fallible (regardless of how pious you are or aren’t), and man wrote the Bible, then how could we ever trust the Bible to be correct?
To put it another way, if the Bible is “the word of god”, and the Bible was written by sinful men, then it would be akin to listening to your favorite music through a piezoelectric speaker. A lot would get lost in translation; and probably the gaps would get filled in based on the level of intelligence and desires of the writers.
Where’s the flex in that statement? How is suggesting you’d have rolled over and let another country bully you better than the “underdog” country fighting back and giving the bully a hard time? I must’ve missed a memo somewhere along the way.
If you’re not reading the Bible, then it’s more lies from
