Probably much more than is comfortable to admit but importantly, it was always understood that its gravy and I need to manage my affairs assuming they weren’t in the picture.

Had some slipups but I take it very seriously when I borrowed and would always sweeten the deal by helping out with whatever they needed a hand on and taking care to demonstrate there is an upward trajectory (it wasn’t pissing money down the gutter) and lessons were learned.

Is there a piece or work like that which makes you feel content thats also conducive to sleep in your estimate? Like something that doesnt stimulate too much but puts you at ease and gives your mind something to wear itself down with to the point its a smooth and enjoyable transition to sleep?

Not so much for stocks, I mean like a better UI spreadsheet client that allows them to go to any period and see ledgers that are intuitively rendered and that lets them sort of experiment with the numbers so they can learn to maneuver things better. Like all their accounts, bills/recurring, paycheques, purchases. All rendered and projected or archived for easy traversal

Its like GTD: get everything out and externalized in an independant system and it takes most of the anxiety and human error out of it

I really hope they can get a partnership with a good forecasting app to set these kids up with forever so they can always project their finances and see how their choices affect the numbers

That would be one of the most helpful things to facillitate this

You’re never gonna fully attnuate all the edge cases and it doesn’t really matter that some people end up being “allergic” or oversensitive or undersensitive to it. Thats what titration and medical supervision are for, not everything works for everyone.

Thats why choice and second/third/fourth line etc treatments exist. I sometimes do wonder if you did a double blind with folks and didn’t tell them, I would conjecture the hyper-extended nature of such things if that were so established could be sufficient to mitigate for individual differences in metabolic-polymorphism or whatever

It’d be cool if they offered periodic randomization of the origin country, really mix things up ;)
