Most the information I can find on that is talking about the prosecutor being pushed to be removed because he was too soft on corruption within Ukraine. Which was a concern of the USA and Europe as that gives a way for Russia to use that corruption for control within Ukraine. So far I haven’t seen any solid evidence of wrong doing on Biden’s part, he was just carrying out normal pressure to further the USA’s interests in the region.
I mean id happily look at some sources but so far all I’ve heard about Biden is the stuff related to Hunter Biden which doesn’t matter as he doesn’t have a government job and from what I’ve seen he tried to tell people he could get access to his dad for them but he wasn’t really able to. And the other thing I’ve heard was his classified documents which the difference between him and Trump was that he notified the proper authorities that he had the documents and gave them all back while Trump didn’t and when confronted didn’t give everything back and had to be raided.
It’s funny cause the Republicans do try to do stuff like that but it usually ends up failing cause there’s nothing actually there for them to prosecute for. Look at the attempted Biden impeachment and how that floundered cause their only reason was basically well his son did bad things so that must mean Biden is connected to it. It’s almost like the reason it happens to Republicans so much and is successful is because they’re actually doing illegal stuff.
It’s not really a consequence, more like a slight slow down of their plans. All Democrats really do is not make things worse cause as soon as they “try” to make things better they run into some problems that you know the Republicans would never let stop them. So that just means losing elections is just a slow down rather than a serious consequence for Republicans cause eventually people will get tired of the Democrats not being able to do anything and end up either not voting or voting Republican.
I remember during the GPU shortage I managed to get a new graphics card from waiting outside a best buy for it to open. So I tried to sell my old one on eBay. Gave good pictures and followed all the rules as far as I could tell but because I had never sold anything on their platform before I was instantly banned with no way to appeal. I get they were probably having to deal with lots of scammers but if I could appeal or talk to support I could literally prove I had the GPU I was selling but as far as I could tell there was no option for that. So now I can’t sell anything on eBay unless I get someone else to sell it for me.
Yeah its almost like if we didn’t keep extending copyright protections a bunch of stuff would be in the public domain and any streaming service could offer it without having to deal with licensing.
Ah yes we should wait for the number of deaths/displacements to get higher to call it a genocide and only then do something to stop it. And I’m not entirely sure but that 35,000 figure is just the number of civilians killed in this current conflict, not accounting for the number killed over the many years this issue has been going on and not accounting for the people who have been kicked out of their homes to make way for Israeli settlers.
What I hate more are the entry level jobs that will be like that. Like bro it’s an entry level job and you’re expecting people to have a super deep understanding makes no sense. Like I get it’s just marketing and a way to lower the number of applicants to get just the really good ones but it makes it so much harder to figure out what level of skill a job is looking for if they all say they want experts with certain skills or tools.
Or those with supervision who’s parents just don’t care. I’m on the older end of Gen z and definitely used YouTube before I was that old. My parents never really cared as long as I wasn’t watching anything weird on it.
I just don’t give notification permissions to most apps unless I actually care about notifications from it.
At least in my experience I have more customization issues when taking to people rather than using an app or going through a kiosk. The only time it’s the other way around is when they don’t include an option I want on the digital version but that’s becoming less and less common for me at least. The number of times I’ve had orders just missing customization things I asked for but they didn’t hear or forgot to enter is much higher when I go through the drive through or go in person then when I do it through something digital.
This is why I tend to just use the mobile apps for places to order. Not laggy and gives the benefits you mentioned of using a touch screen kiosk. A lot of them you don’t even need an account to use the app which is nice if that’s something that bothers you.
Ah got it so we need to be like Trump’s base and ignore any problems Biden has because that encourages people not to vote. /s
You can call out problems with Biden and acknowledge how that is gonna make left leaning people not want to vote for him and average people not care enough to go out and vote at all without supporting not voting for him.
I literally said that none of that was how I personally felt. It’s just observations I’ve made from looking at polls and talking to people who are less engaged in politics. I’m still voting for Biden and want him to win. I’m just giving reasons how Biden currently isn’t doing good among voters who are getting fatigued with the whole “most important election ever” rhetoric. And yes there are other issues the Democrats use for messaging like abortion which is a very popular point but on more recent issues like the war in Gaza (which he looks bad on no matter what side of the issue you’re on) he has been loosing support from younger voters which are a pretty key demographic if he wants to win. Then there’s the economy which even though everyone is saying it’s doing better most people I talk to are still spending more than before and wages haven’t gone up to match and plenty of people I know are struggling to get jobs after mass layoffs at various tech companies. These aren’t the kinds of things that might make someone vote for Trump but instead just check out of politics cause either option things are still gonna get worse. And on a final note people like you who immediately accuse anyone who criticizes Biden of wanting Trump to win aren’t helping, you just make the Biden side look crazy like the Trump side. I can want Biden to win to not have Trump in office while still criticizing Biden and wanting him to do better.
Yeah his strategy was and still very much is to just say things, see how people react, and if there’s enough applause it becomes policy and if there is enough backlash then it’s walked back and he said he misspoke and then never talks about the issue again.
Yeah the problem is if you want to actually win you can’t just keep saying it’s the most important election and you have to vote for us or else over and over again. People will get desensitized eventually and stop caring and then the fascists will win. You have to do good things that make people want to vote for you and judging by public opinion Biden has not been doing the best at that. (This isn’t how I feel, I’m still gonna vote for him to stop Trump and I think people should vote for Biden. I’m just saying why average people who aren’t this dialed into politics aren’t gonna keep voting and that will be the downfall of Biden.)
Not really a messaging app but it works as a way to spread information about what’s happening. Especially through live streams on the platform which people in the protests can use to figure out what’s going on at other parts of the protest.
I mean reading the article it just seems like he’s actually trying to spend the money that the acts allowed before the election. Which if the money is put to good use would help make him look better going into the election. It just also has the good side effect of making it impossible for Trump to undo it since the money has been spent.
I mean yeah but there is also a concept of an animal getting used to captivity and not being able to survive in the wild anymore. So releasing them like that is just a death sentence.
I think investigating it is a good idea which is what the house of representatives has been doing with its impeachment inquiry. However as of now they still haven’t found any solid evidence and it seems like they probably won’t. If there’s evidence I’m totally on board with impeaching Biden but that applies both ways to Trump too. And in the case of Trump there are substantially more wrong things he has done and there’s a lot more evidence of those things considering the number of court cases he’s dealing with right now. It’s like what happened with Hillary all over again, there’s evidence of her doing some wrong things which people use to say Trump is a better choice even though he has many more things wrong with him. And much like with Hillary I think all of this investigation stuff is just meant to make him look bad and if Trump wins it will immediately vanish because they know they either don’t really have a case against him or that at most they could give him a slap on the wrist. Either way evidence coming out during discovery from both sides would probably end up making Republicans and Trump look worse than Biden. Which is why even when they win like they did against Hillary they never really follow through.
