Is it abelist to say that I wish the tree that fell on Abbot finished the job?
As someone who was already only mostly playing single player games, the transition from Windows to Linux was so easy. All my games just work. The only multiplayer game I fuck with anymore is Battlebit Remastered, and that works great.
Since my style of learning is “jump in and figure it out as you go” (impulsive idiot), I’ve been very impressed with how much has just worked.
I’ve been afraid to recommend my set up to friends though because I don’t want to be their troubleshooter.
We just need to help those people fade a little faster then.
This argument would make more sense if this free society wasn’t the same society that would jail me for years for wanting to occasionally do some cocaine. As it stands, this is not a free society and this argument isn’t one.
Anecdotal, but I jumped straight into EndeavorOS from Windows 10 with very little knowledge about Linux before hand and it’s been a very “it just works” out of the box experience for me.
Granted I just use my PC mainly for gaming, but outside of a few issues that were my own fault for not reading/doing any research before wiping my Windows install, its been an incredibly smooth experience.
