I don’t need sleep. I need to learn about fingernail anatomy and the tendons in the bottoms of our feet
The science says standard time is better for public health, and the sun sets later in the summer anyway. Plus US states don’t need congressional approval for permanent standard time, but they do need it for permanent daylight saving time
The US tried permanent daylight saving time in the 70s and everyone hated it. Approval dropped over 30 points in the first couple months and it had to be cancelled early
They wanted to make it permanent but the bill died in Congress. States can choose to abolish daylight saving time whenever they want without congressional approval
Audiobooks are good as well. It’s nice falling asleep to the sound of someone reading you a story. Only problem is I end up training myself so that I can only fall asleep to the voice of Michael Kramer
Not really. Gets a bit squishy if anything
I wonder if there’s beer on the sun…

Someone in the car reacts to what the driver is doing. Pausing the conversation when making a turn and that kind of thing
I think that would count as a passenger. I usually just try to ignore them
Calling with a hands free device isn’t any safer. The danger isn’t holding something in your hand. It’s having a conversation with someone who isn’t there
I have the opposite problem.
my body: we’re hungry
my brain: And? What do you want me to do about it?
