0·30 days agoAlas I can’t find any news reports in the UK stating hundreds of thousands, that’s a really significant number of people for the UK, rather tens of thousands. Last year saw 300,000 pro Palestine protesters head to London, but it appears to be an over-‘estimation’ for this protest. Great to see people still going out in the UK though.

0·1 month agoI spend too much time at my pc or driving so get lower back pain. I recently found this workout that’s really good. It’s challenging but really works well! I sometimes have to ease back a little, especially on the last part, but it still helps.

Beat me too it! Blue Screen of Death - a wall that freezes and blinds all players and can only be countered by force-reboot. Found only in the most popular rpg game that’s also played by non-rpg-ers and is derised by hardcore rpg-ers!

I think we need to know what the UI looks like before a selection has been made, or what it looks like when the curser is over each option. The ‘interface’ part is lost by a single screen shot.
Two women vying against each other? Regardless of political ideology, the men would create a hellstorm of bullshit beyond anything else. The candidates views and speaches would be drowned out by male commentary galore.
It’d be a gargantuan mess and no-one would really know what was actually going on, decades later even.

0·2 months agoLiving standards have improved for many, but at the expense of others through exploitation. Like you say, an age old story. We’re just incredibly lucky to catch a period in the history of mankind where the improvements have benefitted more than just the rich/elite.
Success in business (profit) requires exploitation, which requires few or very select morals to reach the very top. Those people you describe sound a perfect fit!

Vegetable stir-fry, curry or similar should be easily do-able. There’s plenty of fresh veg that will keep long enough out of a fridge or canned asian veg is decent. Tomato or pesto pasta. Stew made with canned beef isn’t bad. Omlette.
Do you have a cool bag/box? Grab a bag of ice and you have a fridge for a few days. Even a plastic box would do the trick.
