But how else could companies make more money off of something you already paid for? Will someone think of the shareholders‽

How?
Not sure if this already exists in some form, but I want something that always records where I’ve been. I am a very forgetful person and the Google maps timeline feature has been very helpful more than a handful of times. Unfortunately, it means that Google knows exactly where I’ve been also…
I just want to be able to check where I was the afternoon of a random Tuesday three years ago!
Small form factor computers are a lot easier with water cooling. That way the GPU can be put right next to the motherboard, and the CPU radiator moved away from that area.

Wait until they find out how much water goes into meat and clothing production
Not to worry for you see, the ‘single slice of pizza’ you mention is actually a Mega Slice, which is probably at least 3 times bigger than a regular slice.
Most of the useful things in milk are there because we artificially added them in. There is no real reason for this, it’s just what we have been doing for a long time

Sorry for unclear wording, I meant that you obviously need some level of power output to move, but you need different levels of power output to keep moving at any given speed, hence the gears. What I meant by ‘power to fuel consumption’ was that while you theoretically could go at a high speed using a low gear up to a point, that would be very inefficient. I’m not actually an engineer, though I pretend to be one at university.
Good thing I’m not an educator!
Efficiency. Combustion engines have a shockingly narrow acceptable power to fuel consumption zone
Gel is basically powder with water mixed in, therefore you are basically buying water for them to premix your detergent with at the factory. You end up paying more for a container of detergent that doesn’t last as long, is heavier, and is more expensive. Powder forever!
Absolutely, though if you have to run it twice anyway you don’t have to cram it full on the first go no matter what. But I’ve seen some truly horrific stuff, plates and bowls just stacked on top of each other, no way for the water to get in all the crevices
I’ve never understood why some people simply must overfill the machine, ensuring that nothing gets properly cleaned. Literally just run the machine twice. It will still use way less water than hand washing, and it will do a better job.
If turning your exercise into a hobby makes it more fun, I don’t see the harm. At the end of the day that just makes it entertainment that’s good for you
