“possible hate crime”…
“possible hate crime”…
Hey at least it is in the same city, I used to get ones for 2000 Km away.
Yeah, first time I have been cheering for line go down that I can think of.
Thanks, I have been watching the graph of the lag behind time and its nice to see it now at 6.1 days.

(piped is not working at the moment)
I was going to say Fallout 4 was the stinker and the only reason it gets as high of praise as it does is just how bad Fallout 76 was and after a lot of patches still is.
Oh wow, yeah its like night and day. Well now I guess I have to figure out a fix.
Sad times if I have to find another instance, again.
Any ideas what can be done longer term to address this (in general)?
Since I can’t see anything here I will check on .world
Used to have .world but for this I just test without logging in.
Thanks for the reply (I was worried no one would) but would that cause the weird behaviour I am seeing? The timing does not seem to match but it could make some sense.
If what you are saying is the cause then Lemmy as a federated whole may now be effectively split up due to sync issues?
I decided to do a bit more then just “hot” and “active” and its the same across all of them except “controversial” and “Most comments”.
“Most comments” has some .world posts in it but does not match using another instance. The only one that seems to line up is ironically sorting by “controversial”,
This is really getting weird and is making it hard to use Lemmy for me. Like I like some of the posts listed but I can not believe the largest instance is not posting anything. To make me more confused this also started at the same time Mander got really slow, and to add to the weirdness refreshing the page gives entirely different sorting of posts maybe one out of five times.
This makes no sense. That is not a sensible reply to that comment.
But NATO is already bordering russia?
No I claimed that putin (russia) has threatened the west with strategic weapons (well implied it anyway, I never made any direct claims). Now you think that somehow multiple nations saying putin has threaten them does not count (for some reason), Putin putting on a big show and dance about strategic weapon drills means nothing, that during many speeches putin eluding to using those weapons means nothing, oh and even after you yourself said “Russia already stated that they will do precisely that, so this moves us one step closer to a nuclear holocaust. Hope it was worth it.” somehow that is not a threat?
Oh there is no point of continuing the discussion but I know you will respond anyway.
Oh? news to me. I was just showing that the world outside russia agrees putin has on a few occasions threatened the use of strategic weapons (because he did).
See the best part of the thing you are replying to is that you can not seem to tell me apart from other people. My “pithy one-liner” was a dig on how another .Ml person just so happens to show up to have the argument as the russian apologist. No where did I claim to provide any primary sources, in fact if you look you can see me making fun of that requirement.
But hey, at least you are a fan of Ben Shapiro. That must be neat.

"We will not allow anyone to threaten us. Our strategic forces are always in a state of combat readiness.”
I know you will never be satisfied, so I will just keep doing this until you provide proof that russia is stronger now then before Feb 2022.
Funny you bring up primary sources…
Yes, as stated as part of his speech to congress in order to get military aid to Ukraine. See how in your article no where does he state that the russian state is stronger or more capable then before the war? That is because he did not say that, he stated that russia remains a threat (and that is true) since they have conscripted more then expected for front line duty. And after Ukraine got the aid package he goes on the record in a few occasions to state the degradation of russian capability (you know like in the article I linked).
Like I get you want to cherry pick this but this is the same guy, If you want to show russia is stronger then before the war you might want to use someone who is not a US general in charge of convincing a congress to send more funds to a proxy war.
You are quoting a man named Christopher Cavoli.
If you look at some of the more recent things he has said on the war (since the US oked that aid package) you can see that he does not think russia is stronger and more so that Ukraine is in a better position.

There are some fun quotes in there like: “He said Russia has managed to muster additional forces,“but the quality of the troops is lower than the troops they started the conflict with” due to the number of officers “that were killed in the beginning of the war” and so aren’t able to train newer soldiers.”

Oh yeah, that is how that must work for you every statement you make is true and anyone else needs to provide proof otherwise, and it does not count if you don’t agree.
You can use less washy words. For example you can say “a woman has been accused of a hate crime, if these alligatons are true then…”
The way these stories are written now not only use the “allegedly” they also tend to use language that down plays the event.
