My reply includes a link.
I’ve been using Mbin over Kbin recently and it seems snappier and more stable. Not sure if it’s because kbin.melroy.org has substantially less users than kbin.social or the code itself. Mbin seems to federate better with Mastodon as well as more of my follows followed me back here vs kbin where none of them did.
tldr; “we’re fucked.”
I’m going to state the obvious and say it’s simply too expensive for mass adoption. This is an enthusiast product for AR early adopters similar to the launch of the original Oculus Rift (for VR). I’ll definitely be interested in a less bulky consumer facing product as the tech matures. I find AR fascinating, but I’ll wait until the hardware is more streamlined.
Not using Chrome is so easy. I mean, Firefox is right there and is a better browser to boot. I genuinely have no idea why people still use Chrome for everything.
