The bigots are the people that refuse to leave people who aren’t hurting anyone alone.
Your “concerns” are bullshit, only meant to justify your interference in other people’s lives.
He/They. Trying out some different instances. If you see this handle on another instance, it’s probably me, unless someone else also stole it from Campaign: Skyjacks.

Nothing about the situation you described is normal or acceptable.
CNN maybe, but the NYT has been hammering him on the age issue for years at this point.
Phew. I was afraid they’d move to Sam Adams or something since they fetishize the Founders so much, and I’d have to give up something I actually like.
What media have you been looking at? The only thing I’ve seen about Biden for months has been about how he’s too old. And occasionally a bit about him supporting Israel, whether that’s presented in a positive or negative light.
Which just means we need to make it harder on companies to placate these loud pieces of shit.
Where’d you get that idea? And what made you think Warren would be worse than Trump?
Yeah, I wasn’t a fan of R-Money, but at least he was just an out-of-touch rich asshole, and not a straight up narcissistic fascist.
Not sure why Elizabeth Warren would take over or why we’d all be fucked with her as president. Did you somehow confuse Warren with Kamala Harris?
Also not sure how we’d be fucked worse with Harris than with Trump, if that is what you meant. The list of people who’d be worse than Trump is exceedingly short.
Because everyone knows Covid can’t spread at protests.
Fortunately, no. He did his time in the late 80s.
Hey, it worked for Ukraine.
Yes, hand the executive branch to the guy who attempted a coup to stay in power last time, backed by the Project 2025 guys, and come back in 4 years for the election that will surely still actually take place. Sure. Great plan.
Well, yeah, I agree in that sense. I just meant that, if Biden dropped out, there would be a bunch of Democratic electors who would be uncommitted. As opposed to if someone dropped out after being elected to Senate or the like, which would probably lead to the government appointing a temporary replacement and scheduling a special election.
You’re preaching to the choir here. If I could throw Biden out and replace him with, I don’t know, Sanders or AOC or someone, I would in a heartbeat.
I agree with you. Trump is, unfortunately, on track to win. And if Trump wins, the death of American democracy is imminent, and none of us are going to like what’s next.
The problem is, if Trump wins, there likely won’t be a next time. He’s out there saying as much on the campaign trail, and he’s tried it before.
Technically, that only really applies for the Presidential election, largely because of the Electoral College. But still, you should never vote for any Republicans anyway, because even affiliating with that den of snakes at this point tells you all you need to know about that candidate.
Lots of people are stupid.
In many ways, our society encourages such stupidity.
I don’t get how anyone can see this debate as high stakes. I feel like anyone who’s been paying any sort of attention knows who these two guys are and what they’re about. If you’re a fascist, you’re voting Trump. If you’re not, the only question is whether you’re going to vote Biden or stay home.
Also, please don’t stay home. Biden sucks, but Trump is basically openly promising the end of American democracy at this point.
Of course there are individuals who regret it. There are individuals who regret any decision one can possibly make in life. But it’s worth noting that, statistically, the regret rates for gender affirming surgeries are among the lowest of any medical intervention done anywhere in the world, by a large margin.
I know you’ve heard their stories, because there are people with very specific agendas who are dedicated to weaponizing their stories. But it’s useful to remember that the plural of “anecdote” is not “data”.
