Endeavour also gives DE options during installation.
Steam does have a monopoly though. They don’t do anything anti-competitive with it, so there is not much Epic can do about it (other than make their platform better for the people using it).
Google decided that the entirety of reddit is perfect for training data in their AI LLM. People’s shitposts from 10 years ago have now been given the spotlight at the top of google searches.

Nah, it would say that glue is only useful for pizzas.
I saw a Ocarina of Time one a while back. There is also some tool that can link randomizers of different games togther.
I wasn’t referring to games being shut down. I was referring to how denuvo stops you from playing the game if it has issues phoning home for whatever reason. My hatred for denuvo began when it locked me out of monster hunter for 24 hours the one time I wanted to come back to playing it.
I wonder if they would still hold that opinion if they were locked out of a game they paid $70 for, while the ones that got it for “free” can play it without any restrictions. Piracy is just as much a service issue as it is a money issue.
It’s only a matter of time before Kevin figures out how door knobs work.
Same. I am surprised I’ve been able to use it for so long without any issues.
Have you seen what Microsoft has been up to with Win11? KDE is basically windows if it chose not to shove ads directly into the user’s eyeballs.
Same here. I have yet to experience any issues on firefox+ublock, newpipe, or revanced.
Windows only. It currently has a silver rating on protondb.
Not sure what folders they are usually in by default, but I set my mounted drives to be inside of the /mnt folder because I didn’t like wherever they were originally mounted to.
I got lucky that almost all the multiplayer games I play run under Linux. There’s only one or two that I would need Windows for to play again.
You can also try ryujinx if you can’t get yuzu to work.
Making it easier is not the problem. The problem is having the search function actually find the messages you are looking for. The biggest problem I have with it is that word order matters too much. “Keyword1 keyword2” will find different messages than “keyword2 keyword1”. Not only that, but it will also search for different variations of the word with no way of preventing it from doing it. If there is a solution for these problems, then no one is taking about it.
Until discord makes their search bearable to use, I would still rather use an actual forum over discord. It’s so irritating when I have to perform multiple searches to look up conversations people had on a topic because the stupid search function takes word order into consideration for what messages to show you. And since discord servers aren’t open to search engines, those can’t be used to alleviate that issue.
Had that happen to me with Last Epoch. At launch the native linux version had graphical issues where as proton ran the windows version almost perfectly.
