Default Gnome apps work well, but you’ll need to revert to an earlier version of Gnome Todo/Tasks before it became endeavour, as they had subtasks, but unfortunately removed it with the newer version.

The list of devices on Replicant OS is old and short. Proprietary blobs are a big issue for Android.
I use MoneyManagerEx after looking at alternativeto.net for Mint. It has an Android app in addition to desktop apps, and has an easy interface, compatible with multiple formats
