Whilst I prefer the red trike as it’s pretty stable with a lot of weight at the back, it is currently out of commission so the new shopping goon and snack mobile (for now) is the unicorn basket bike:
Doubt the kids are going to laugh at me now.
“Can I have a chip”… “No”. “Can you buy us some booze”?.. “No”.
I believe (I think) they’re flatweed/catsear, fleabane and buffalo grass. The reason I’m doing it manually is the old man will rock up and put a shitload of dicamba / glyphosate on which I can’t get behind.
Today’s weeding done:
About 3x that to go FML.
I’m going to have to ninja it into other people’s green bins at 3am for a few consecutive bin nights (they won’t mind).
last nights’ go at the SMC
Didn’t realise the dew was gonna be so bad so only used 12 x 5mins exposures instead of the 24 I took. Shit happens. Will probably end up using only 4 and will have to take another bunch another night. Good to see the equipment still works though.
yea. For me little bit relaxing and mouth went slightly numb. Wouldn’t rate it for the taste though.
I was hoping to but trees will be in the way :(
Going for the South mangelic cloud tonight. So far so good everything seems to be working :) So clear out there.
Getting set up for the night.
See if I can remember how to do it. Has been a while. Looks to be clear skies though.
Sure for me it’s equal parts light soy and rice wine vinegar with a dash of sesame oil then throw in some chilli flakes and sesame seeds. Sometimes throw some minced raw garlic.
Hrmm I’m not sure if cockatiels hang out on coastal fringes very often but you never know!
Tiny about 5cm. When you turn them around in the sun they change colour to a more aqua / green which was interesting.
Found some (I presume) a few male ‘Superb fairy-wren’ tail feathers when weeding before:
Lots a fluff around so something went down (probably resident magpie having a go at it). Apparently a common bird but I never really see them (or found their feathers).
Only if it’s trust falls and slice of pizza instead of a bonus.
I hope the food truck circles back.
Made it down the bellarine to check on the chillos. Asked the p’s over the w/e to water them as it’d been over a week… said they didn’t need to they’re fine. Got down and sure enough they certainly did need a drink. Dry as a chip.
Glad they all made it. Currently tucked in under the led disco light. A lot are getting their 2nd true leaves :)
Should start speeding up soon. This part is slowww.
I do 100% of the time too… 50% of the time.
Well that’s a first. Found a stick insect on my subwoofer. I don’t think I’ve actually seen one before in the wild:
It has been put back outside on a tree. But glad to see there’s another real junglist saying wicked.
This most definitely calls for a rave choon:
Considering it was on the subby… Suicide bassline!
