I do it for a living and have given up being up to date on all the new shit going on. Billboard gets the W for now. LLMs cannot build houses in isolation.
What everyone is missing is that they don’t have to. The right LLM with the right question can output a meaningful “decision” or “judgment call”. That’s all you need. Ask the right series of questions. We’ll call it “thinking”. I really believe that well is pretty deep. Will it be the first version of “AI”? Maybe. Maybe not. But it’s gonna be a big milestone that is going to soon fuck up everything.

Ori unpacks itself slowly. At the beginning, I agree - A pretty basic platformer. Once you find yourself playing Galaga in it, it starts to prove how flavorful a platformer can be.

I like that approach. It’s in line with what Amnesty International is proposing for Isreal and Palestine
I feel you, and also acknowledge it is a hairy subject on a grand scale.
I also try to frame the issue in the actual, real moment. I try my damndest to do as little harm as humanly possible to anyone. Should I be forced to give money to someone affected? Land? Should I be punished?
Who benefits? A grandson of someone displaced? A great great grandson? Whole family trees? How do you make shit like this right after so much time?
Mostly, I’m trying to encourage thought and discussion. Fundamentally, I think people should be judged on their own merits and actions, not their lineage.
Define “make it right”. And for who, exactly?
