That’s a good strategy to ensure you die: a mooses torso is already higher than the hood of of a lot of SUVs, so you’re taking a moose to the face.
CoffeeStain has fixed some crazy Satisfactory saves that went all the way back to update 2 from 2019.
I was able to get my Toyota’s DCM disabled and did a data collection opt-out with the company. It was a total pain in the ass and they tried very hard to dissuade me, but it is possible (depending on manufacturer).
“I fuckin towed a so!”
Ah yes! The most perfectly San Jose move San Jose could pull. Really compliments their police union boss running a fentanyl smuggling ring for years.
Trader Joe’s changed their stance during the pandemic and are aggressively fighting unionization. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/trader-joes-attorney-nlrb-unconstitutional_n_65b41e7ae4b014b873b11cc2 https://inthesetimes.com/article/trader-joes-union-organizing-fight
All these LLMs should be required to show you the power costs and the CO2 emissions for every response they generate. If “AI” is the latest reason why we’re going to blow right past the 2.5c point, the real costs of using them should be right in every user’s face.
Soon, GOG and all other storefronts will state that you’re purchasing a temporary digital license for any game who’s publisher uses an EULA that states you don’t own the game. This is due to the recently signed California law that forces storefronts to be transparent about the publishers EULA.

Seriously! With the way Ubisoft has been operating lately, I won’t be surprised if they cut off the end of the campaign story and put it behind a $40 DLC.
Seriously? I moved to lemm.ee because it has a fair, democratic approach to federation, and doesn’t defederate at the drop of a hat.
I’d personally rather be able to see more perspectives and block the crazy at my own discretion.
She’s public relations major who just got you to look at a headline about her. I’d say she’s pretty smart, but lacking in morals and empathy.
While I complete and totally agree that it should be legalized, or at least federally rescheduled and completely decriminalized, I worry about what happens when it’s federally regulated and taxed.
If it is federally legalized and taxed, it will likely become the domain of the ATF, who will take over continue kicking in doors and doing raids on anyone who is not a huge corporate grower. Marlboro has already trademarked Marlboro Greens and I’m sure every other tobacco giant has their branding ready.
Leaving regulation and taxation to each state is probably better long term, otherwise it’s just going to be a corporate cash grab with established local growers and suppliers getting screwed.
Regardless, it should be completely legal to grow it in your back yard.
Until our voting system is changed from First-to-the-Finish to Ranked Choice, it’s impossible for a third party to be a legitimate option.
I would love to see a third party candidate be successful, but if these third parties can’t even complete their paperwork on time and take opposition party funding, they are not legitimate.
The pictures of her with Mango Musalini make it look like they’re sharing more than just a political viewpoint.
Lemmy.world becoming the default Lemmy instance, and it growing to outsize all other instances is a danger: it makes the Fediverse centralized, easy to take down and easy to take over.
The psychology that causes school shootings is the direct product of a toxic male culture, and the stigmatization of mental illness coupled with Reagan’s dismantling of public mental health services.
Plenty of countries with more guns per capita than the U.S. that don’t have school shootings.
“If the defendant were not a senior citizen and did not suffer from physical infirmities, the government would be recommending a sentence within the relevant guidelines.”
It’s the old part that got him a reduced sentence. Anything to avoid giving free healthcare in 'Murica.
I think the long-term sales of the games you just cited is at odds with your opinions. At this point, Bethesda has made a name for themselves with janky, bug-riddled games with big story, that excel at giving the players a feeling agency. At this point that is Bethesda’s brand image and they seem to be just going with it. Like why would they bother spending more money to fix bugs and exploits that have become a signature to a lot of people? Also it’s costs them less to leave their titles unpolished and let the modders fix it.
This move is specifically described in Project 2025. The next step is that he will gut the DOJ, appoint his people, and have them pressure, remove, and prosecute any local DA who doesn’t get in line.
The goal is to force very part of the legal apparatus to get in line with the fascist agenda.
