Thank you.
Is the list ordered by importance or is it the recommended reading order?

Thank you.
Is the list ordered by importance or is it the recommended reading order?
Thank you.
read political theory and history
Which books other than the one that you mentioned(thanks for that), would you recommend? Introductory ones that are modern/contemporary, if possible.
I’ve been recommended State & rev and I have read it, but it seems that eventhough I get the idea, I don’t have the foundation and context(didn’t understand who all the people mentioned in it are) to fully understand it. Maybe I need to reread it.
Are there any books that you’d recommend about organising and the associated skills/strategy needed for it?
Could I ask a related question:
In my place I’m seeing communal polarisation increasing. Or it is becoming more evident. How would one oppose that in a populace where religion and caste hold good sway, without the opposition giving it more power accidently?
I’ve seen leftist n leftish organisations being affected by this.
ways to build and wield power that do not depend on it.
How would one go about it? Would be useful if it’s in a general context, as I’m not a North American.
Lau laundered money for the mob and also was Chinese.
I don’t think the public/mainstream would have issues there, where he goes after the non-native guy who laundered money for the mob.
Batman is a CEO, right?
He just goes after the ones he can beat without much backlash from the public/system.
Imagine if he takes down a CEO. He’d not be able to play batman. Gordon and batman sympathisers would be affected, so Batman’s human connection in the police would be lost. He can hack stuff, but might not always be enough.
He can do other stuff, but he can only do it gradually and much more tactfully.
dismiss any information merely because it emanates from a source they disfavor is the epitome of liberalism
But there are sources that we’d doubt more, right?
In this case, I think the info is decent, since other sources say similar stuff and it makes sense withp previous info/experience.
Not related to science news, but I’m careful of sources with a right-wing bias in the context of general news. I’ve had experiences where they had exaggerated or twisted news. Not that left-wing sources are totally free of it, but it the scale n frequency in exaggeration seems different. And it often gets criticises by left-wing people too.
So, I am more careful of those rightwing sources. Am I a liberal because of that?
Tank you a lot for taking the time and effort on this detailed comment.
Watches JAV and starts thinking that yamete means very awesome or very good or that they are arriving
I think people should learn the basic words before going into porn for learning stuff. But yes, it maybe a good way to learn things that are not explained in regular tutorials
Any android/mobile games that you’d recommend?
PC gaming is rare for me nowadays, that too only Supertuxkart.
Did you learn English on your own with the help of the internet? That’s very cool
We were taught English as our second language at school. English content on the net has surely helped me a lot too though.
Their method seems cool. Thank you
I agree. The support aspect is very strong. Can’t go against it, unless you are lucky and/or skilled. Or very brave.
Islam used to be the forefront of scientific and mathematical discovery.
People of all religions have contributed to scientific growth.
The average religious person and the person discovering scientific/mathematical stuff are generally different tho.
Universal basic education has gained focus in many parts of the world, only relatively recently.
I think improved scientific temper would obviously vlash with many mainstresm religions.
Presence of some supreme creator may not be proven or disproven, but I think most of the anti-evolution stuff and similar things in most mainstream religions would face more questions when scientific temper improves.
And I’m not say that non-religious people are safe from similar stuff tho. Just that it is easily spread and maintained when you have a community on it.
I know some Python, but have never gone beyond normal stuff.
I have downloaded online pdf’s on Python. Sometimes I read it without trying it and forget how stuff are used. Or just jump into something and get confused. When I try to read code on github, I take some time to understand what the functions do and stuff.
Maybe I’m learning on and off, and it’ll take time.
Currently, I’m trying out stuff using Gcollab and it seems to be fun, since I grew up using a phone more than a pc/laptop.
What method/plan did you use?
Human languages or programming languages?
Yes.
Actually, the former. But curious to know about both experiences.
They are taught about it from childhood and many of us don’t questions stuff we’ve learnt in our childhood.
Education fails to instil scientific temper in them
Lack of proper mental health awareness and support.
Is there any lemmy community for it? Maybe you can start one, if interested in exploring things like that?
InternetIsBeautiful communities maybe a good option too
