It’s not changing the meaning of the axis though. The “required” part is implied. Could it have been made more clear? Sure. But reading learning curve into it is a little bit more of a stretch.
It’s not about learning curves though, it’s about skill floor/ceiling. Just add “required” to the “gaming skill” axis and it will make sense.

Huh? I thought the original chart means I get more gaming skill from playing EVE than from playing WoW - which totally makes sense
