I was once a streamer but still don’t understand how tone def you must be to @everyone when we talking about preffered standard salts(Sea Salt).
im sorry but there is no way to change my mind: discord just sucks.
Especially with how often today you’ll find a gaming or software project with little to no available documentation and just a “Join the discord!” Link somewhere as a replacement. Discord is neither indexable nor archivable on the public internet, and when it eventually shuts down, an incredible amount of orphaned software projects with no public documentation will fade away. And this doesn’t at all mention how terrible a chat platform is as a drop in for organizing gestalt knowledge
Kosher salt is the best standard salt in the US (Mortons, Diamond Crystal is also acceptable). Sea salt in the US is marked up too much to be “standard”, and thus catapults it into the specialized salts (Real salt, Himalayan pink/black etc.)
However, outside the US I’ve used sea salt almost exclusively
Sea salt increasingly should be renamed micro plastic salt, which is a shame because it is really good
Imagine running a “server” but not bothering to set permissions correctly.
You get what you deserve.
I dont run it
Imagine assuming someone ran a server wow ahah that’s wild ahaha
Caption says “my cooking server”
“My country England” I own England
YOUR MAJESTY RUNS A COOKING SERVER!?
Eh you’re also on Lemmy where many people self host stuff and run a lot of servers.
Easy to misunderstand
However “easy to misunderstand” on lemmy shouldn’t end with a “you get what you deserve,” comment. I know it wasn’t you who made that comment, but pretty shit take when it could be “hey if it’s your server you should focus on improving permissions”
I’m from Texas and read it as a server he is on.
Lots of people on Lemmy self host stuff and have their own servers so it’s easy to misunderstand
Imagine imagining. You steal a meme and then get upset someone attributes it to you. Cope and seethe, sweetheart 😘
“Steal a meme”?? What world are you living in where stealing a meme is a serious action with any consequences. Its literally is whole point
A cooking server sounds pretty neat
Ulterior* fyi
9/10 times when someone pings @everyone, I’ve been very not happy to see it
then if a new girl joins the server its just porn. thats probably run by a but, thats probably ran by a dude
