If Biden is gonna keep “coming around” to the ‘right’ ways of thinking, he’d better find a way to not make everyone who thought these things 25 years ago to be assholes— especially considering Biden shot all this down back then, without Obama to shift the blame. Biden was just terrible.

It’s news that we’re admitting it… and I think it’s fantastic news that’s likely signaling that Biden finally woke up to just how unpopular supporting the war is in his base.

The problem is we will continue supplying them weapons to kill the innocent. Syrian, Yemen, and now Palestine, we love killing the innocent as long as we get paid.

We may - your hesitancy isn’t unwarranted, certainly. But this announcement doesn’t make it more likely for us to supply even more weapons.

Biden took an awful long time to come around to this point but it is a good point to arrive at.

The problem is the New York Times ran a story talking about us holding 3,600 bombs from Israel. If you read the whole article, staff is quoted as saying they have not come to a conclusion. Plus they will continue supplying other weapons.

Until we hold Netanyahu accountable, I’ll wait for a strong commitment. Even saying they won’t interfere with the ICJ investigation into Yahu’s actions would be great

President Joe Biden said on Wednesday that American bombs have been used by Israel to kill Palestinian civilians.

“Civilians have been killed in Gaza as a consequence of those bombs and other ways in which they go after population centers,” Biden said during a CNN interview when asked whether the 2,000-pound bombs sent to Israel have killed civilians.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

President Joe Biden said on Wednesday that American bombs have been used by Israel to kill Palestinian civilians.

“Civilians have been killed in Gaza as a consequence of those bombs and other ways in which they go after population centers,” Biden said during a CNN interview when asked whether the 2,000-pound bombs sent to Israel have killed civilians.

If the Israeli military launches a ground offensive in Rafah, a city in Gaza where more than one million people are sheltering, the White House will not supply “the weapons that have been used historically to deal with Rafah to deal with the cities,” Biden said.

An Israeli official told NBC News there was deep frustration in the Israeli government over the decision as Israel’s military prepares to launch an expected ground offensive in the southern city in Gaza.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that the military would enter the city “with or without” a deal with Hamas.

Biden has reiterated his opposition to the Rafah offensive in calls with Netanyahu, according to White House readouts of the leaders’ conversations.
