Ended up solving by ordering a 2TB NVMe I’ll replace a 512GB in my main PC with, so at least if I’m out of pocket it’s for an upgrade. It’s my bad for having used the PC for months before geting around to the install or searching part numbers, that’s why it’s mild

I think everyone is confused because in the title it says “im installing an hdd to replace an ssd” and in the post it says “ordered an nvme” so now im wondering what you are actually doing? Did the seller specify it would have an “nvme ssd” or just “ssd”?

just ssd. I’m the moron and I accept it. Looking up the SSD model the only results were people complaining about how it was in their refurb systems and it failing after like 6 months. It mildly infuriated me, that’s why I posted it. That was probably a mistake but I’ll own it.
