The amount and type of ads is just too much to handle.
White border fast paced ads on top of every comment section and every ~20 Posts is just too much …
Syncs business model is not acceptable for me.
I wanted to buy sync adfree but 18€ is just too much.
I will switch to an open source alternative.

No no no on the internet you don’t understand. You can’t just leave quietly. You have to make sure everyone knows you’re leaving.
People are allowed to voice their opinions…why is this an issue to you?

Given that you clearly know it’s a business, why are you then expecting special treatment? If you like it, use it, if not, there are alternatives available.
I dunno, I bought it for Reddit 14 years ago, and bought it for Lemmy in the hour it was available. It’s great, 18€ is nothing really
