I can say from experience that I definitely resent it, and I only have a 15-20 minute commute. I like a lot of my colleagues, but I’ve also been burned too many times by this long-time employer to give a shit. They’ll get what they’ve paid for, not one damn second more. And I’ll spend exactly as much time in the office as contractually obligated, not one damn second more.
