IMO The series jumped the shark after Babylon 2.

No you gotta muscle through. It goes off the rails in Babylon 2, and gets a little artsy for my taste in Babylon 3, but after it starts to find itself again in Babylon 4, it’s a masterpiece by Babylon 5. That’s why that’s the one you always hear about.

If you hold on it’s a lot like one piece highlights are Babylon 69 and it gets good around Babylon 420.

But the prequel Babylon 0 and then the spin-off Babylon 0rigins was too much. Just skip the fluff and enjoy the masterpiece, watch Babylon 5.
