Again with the stupid thumbs up. This idiot has no idea where he IS or he doesn’t care. He could be standing in front of the gates of Auschwitz and he would still have that moronic grin on his face.

They were allowed to publicize that picture? What the fuck?

Neither of these pictures makes Trump an absolutely non-votable asshole? What the fuck?

    Republicans. What the fuck?

What the fuck. What the fuck?

Anyone who said, “You know, Donald. Maybe a thumbs up really isn’t appropriate for this time and place” would get fired immediately. Trump doesn’t care about anything except Trump. The picture is clearly about HIM! Not where he is or what he’s doing.

There are probably very few people left to tell Donald how to act like a normal human being and most of them don’t bother out of fear of getting fired.

I imagine this continued like an SNL sketch, with the general moving to a salute when Trump moves to a handshake, and then repeat that a few times. End up with a hearty laughter and a french kiss.

The web page detailing the deceased shows them making that gesture, it’s probably something she did often. It’s likely just the “rock-on” gesture.

They’re either Aggies (Texas A&M fans), or they’re trying to do the rock horns and failing miserably.

I’m inclined to think mostly column A, and a little of column B.

The devil horns are basically a symbol of Satan. The metal folks were doing it for performance reasons (to look badass, kind of similar as many hip hop artists want to look as if they are criminals in gangs). They were also used to stick it to the satanic panic of the 80s where they were labeled as Satan worshippers.

What is that symbol supposed to mean in this context? With a politician? In a cementary? Next to a grave? Of a soldier that is of a Christian faith?

the horns were popularized by Dio. his grandmother used it to ward off the evil eye, as it is traditionally done in several parts of the world. nothing about Satan.

pretty sure that association was popularized by the satanic panic crowd because they were desperate to make whatever connection they could

that standing upright to salute posture sure reveals some things that the oversized padded jacket and weird stance were trying to hide

Morons pose with the idiot who caused their children to be murdered. Classic ghoulish republicans. The Afghanistan withdrawal agreement was initiated under Trump—everyone seems to keep ignoring that fact.

This is nothing new for the GOP.

After 9/11/2001 the GOP had two talking points they loved to repeat over and over.

One was that Bill Clinton had had eight opportunities to kill bin Ladn. This ignored that all of those opportunities would have been illegal.

The other was that Bush Jr. only had nine months in office before the attack and hadn’t had time to get up to speed. That ignored the fact that Clinton had warned Bush that bin Ladn was a threat; the CIA had told Bush bin Ladn was a threat; the FBI had him on the Most Wanted list; and that Bush had been give a report titled ‘bin Ladn is planning an attack on America.’

and then it was “nobody could have seen this coming”.

except everyone who could. i think they even had warnings about the actual plan.

There used to be a local, New York City area magazine called ‘Spy.’ Ran a lot of satirical articles about stupid people with too much money, so naturally Donnie was a frequent target. They are the ones who first called him a ‘short fingered vulgarian.’
